![]() ![]() ![]() The campaign story and artwork is well done, although a bit hard to follow when you take time getting through the stages. After doing the first weekly and getting my first ancient shard + epic hero from daily login, I set my goal for 1 month of playing to have a relatively fair assessment of how the game would be. The main pull to come back was the constant progression, the fun of doing arena and strategizing my team. The next week I spent farming and doing dailies. As a result I came out on top of the Newb tournament without spending a cent (though it was really close!). I diversified and tried to progress as far as possible into each section as I found that gave the most tournament points and I really wanted to win it. I spent time in most parts of the game, such as arena, dungeons and campaign. For the first few days progression is plentiful, and I found the starting Tournament a nice and engaging focal point for my initial time with the game. Right off the bat I selected Kael as my starter because Magic Looks Cool. Secondly I've accepted that as a F2P player I am likely going to be destroyed in PvP by paying customers - I am part of the "content" that other players can spend money to enjoy beating. ![]() I came into the game with no intention of spending money, and I've kept true to that.
